Impressions are necessary for any number of dental treatments. Unfortunately, just as many patients can frequently experience gagging, phobia, and discomfort during the processes. In some cases, impression taking can be a horrendous experience psychologically. That’s why I look for ways to make an impression of taking much less of an ordeal.
Today, my patients who need treatments requiring dental impressions can have them taken more quickly, with less mess and likelihood of the material seeping toward the back of their throat, and with greater accuracy the first time. Advancements in material science, handling characteristics, accuracy, stability, and setting times of vinyl polysiloxane (VPS) impression materials enable me to provide my patients with these comfortable benefits.
During this CE webinar, the participant will understand • patient benefits of comfortable impression-taking • how to deliver benefits of impression accuracy and stability to the dental laboratory • how to know the applications of accurate, patient-friendly impressions
